I agree with you completely.  Hunting doesn't make sense.  Taking a whole day to stake out a deer or antelope sounds like an awful waste of time.  I tried fly fishing a few times, even that was a waste of time.

Interesting sport you are referring to.  Part of me thinks you got the idea from "Running Man".  To this day, I still love that movie.  The acting was crap, the special effects were crap, but some of the scenes are just top notch.
