If they can blow most of their welfare check on booze and drugs...they should
be able to afford the few dollars for an ID to show a poll worker they are who
they claim they are in order to vote!


If they can go to a DMV to obtain and renew their drivers license they should
be able to afford a voter's ID to vote!


If they can afford the costs of fuel and upkeep for those vehicles they drive
around, they should be able to afford the few dollars for a voter ID!


With all the money they save by living in rent-subsidized housing, they should
be able to afford a voter ID card!


They can get to and from the dice game...or the corner saloon...or their
favorite drug den....they should also be able to get to the office that issues
voter ID cards!


The buses run....taxis still operate....most all of them can get drivers
licenses to show an ID to buy alcohol, or buy tobacco....the excuse `I can't
afford one' goes out the window.


They need a valid ID to buy liquir, a pack of cigarettes... to obtain a
drivers license (birth certificate)...cash a check....open a bank account...
