No Aaron, it's not like that at all.

You know that America is a nation of immigrants? Canada is too.

The current situation is out of step with your own (American) as well as international law. That is Donald Trumps doing. I think the whole border/wall thing was simply to rile up the base and ultimately divides Americans in a big way. It also shut down your federal government for 31 days. None of that is good for anything at all.

Americans can and have decided just what the law/policy is regarding the border. If it needs work (I don't know if it does or not) then by all means make some changes and implement them.
