George Wallace was a Democrat. In his autobiography, he claimed
he never said the word "nigger" in public. Even though a member of
the Ku Klux Klan wrote his public speeches for him.

David Duke was, and is, a Republican. In his autobiography, he
claims he never said the word "nigger" in public. Even though the
former Ku Klux Klansman wrote all his public speeches himself.
