Dow Jones hit a new low - losing 2,997 points in a single day.
That is a loss of 12.9% for the day.
The S&P 500 dropped 12% for the day.
Nasdaq closed 12.3% lower (worst day ever).

Dow down 31.7% from its all-time high.
S&P 500 and Nasdaq more than 29% below records.

This is 1929 all over again.
