You think there's other politicians who are gay but haven't come out?

There's not much incentive for them to come out, is there? They risk losing
votes from homophobes.

If being gay was the only "flaw" in Pete, then I'd have no problem voting for
him (and if Trump were not running for re-election.) Unfortunately for Pete,
he has many other flaws that are concerning. The #1 reason I don't like him:
He's for open borders. #2 is his support for infanticide.

Give me a Democrat who wants to secure the border with Mexico & who wants
less extreme abortion rights for women, and well, I still won't vote for them
but I will respect them more.

Coming out as gay while running for office doesn't sound like bravery to me.
