Possible - but likely? Letting Ukraine burn to the ground would be a bad
thing. We'd lose an ally in a convenient location, and loose faith in an
otherwise good president.

Nobody's perfect.

Since he stood up for Syrian civilians at Russia's expense, what would he have
done to Russia if he were present during the annex of Crimea? "We'll help ya
if you give us dirt on Joe Biden." I doubt that. But how about that other guy
who said "We actually don't need your help with political rivals, we're
spying on their campaign on our own, and on top of that, we ain't gonna help
you with Crimea because we really don't care."
