See there?  She is waiting on Moscow Mitch.  Same as
everybody else.

From the looks of things, she does not seem to be in a big
rush to do anything at all.  Except wait for Moscow Mitch to
inform her what the process will be on the Senate side.

You see how this works.  Kind of like a giant game of chicken.
Now, remember where she is from.  That's right.  The same place
as Dirty Harry.

Your hero thought she was bluffing when she pulled out her
weapon of choice, daring her to "Make my day, punk!"  So she
pulled the trigger, showing him who was really boss.

Moscow Mitch thinks he can save his beloved by refusing to play.
But Speaker Pelosi has the guts to play hardball, upping the ant‚
by telling him, in effect, "We'll be glad to send you the Articles
of Impeachment.  But we'd like you to do us a favor first."

Now the ball is in his court.  The longer he waits, the worse
it will be for himself, his accomplices in the Senate, and his
dearly beloved (the critter occupying the White House).

I guess he forgot the Senate has no control over what the House
does.  And I am not sure the House has any control over what the
Speaker does.  In any event, if the Senate changes the rules to
schedule a trial, they can have a trial whether or not the House
presents the articles.

Whether or not Speaker Pelosi wants the Senate to proceed without
the House's involvement is a different matter.  She may not care
at all what Mitch McConnell and his cronies do or do not do.  In
fact, she does not *HAVE* to do anything just because the Senate
says so.

Speaker Pelosi has dropped a dead skunk in the lap of Moscow Mitch,
and she is letting it sit there to rot, being in no hurry to rescue
any of them.

Speaker Pelosi is still Speaker.  And the Democrats still control
the House.  The House can continue investigating, and passing
additional articles of impeachment.  Maybe two or three at a time,
for each impeachment.  That way, even if Moscow Mitch gets his
beloved off on Impeachment #1, there will be Impeachment #2, and
Impeachment #3, etc., until the voters make a change this November.
