Article by Harvard professor Robin Wordsworth The Future Of Space Is More Than Human Some interesting ideas here, as robots become more powerful should we be using them more to complement humans, however I did comment on Mastodon that as HUmans want to explore, go deeper in to oceans, fly higher and go firther in to space. This will hopefully not change but it is how we do this that could determine success. We made better clothes to explore cold environments, so we are going to need technology to help us explore. A robot or some sort of companion can be full of sensors to inform (and of course warn) of what could be out there. The ISS and Mir proved we can undetake long duration space missions, however both of these are (or in the case of Mir, were) in Orbit, getting to / from was easier which makes resucue possible, the fact the Boeing missionj had issues highlights how easy it is to get stranded on the ISS.
