Arch devs are discussing raising the CPU requirements. This might make it impossible for me to run Arch in the future. Had me worried for a moment, but the discussion is just starting ... ... and I realized that I depend on Arch quite a lot. At least it feels that way. I don't like that. No matter the outcome of said discussion, I should do the following: - Switch my servers back to OpenBSD. They have smoother upgrade paths now and I can afford a staging server these days. - Switch one of my workstations to another Linux distro. I think it's healthy to run more than one OS. Broaden the horizon. Probably going to be Void Linux, since it's also rolling release. Sounds like a great combination to me! Let's hope I can find the time to actually do that.
