It's really ... yeah, what is it? Scary? Astonishing? I'm talking about using a WebKitGTK browser. There are three phases: 1. Pretty much everything works fine. 2. Some months later, more and more web sites re-launch and now use more of those "modern" features. This either breaks those web sites in WebKitGTK browsers or it makes them really slow. 3. WebKitGTK slowly catches up. Then goto 1. We're currently in phase 2. imgur has re-launched, new shiny interface, stopped working in WebKitGTK. reddit has also re-launched recently and is now slow in WebKitGTK. I feel very bad for the WebKitGTK devs. This must be so frustrating. Still, WebKitGTK is the only framework that allows you to easily develop your own browser. That's very valuable and unique. Please keep WebKitGTK alive! (We're not going on the "why do those web sites need a re-launch in the first place?" rant this time.)
