NetBSD now comes with pkgin, an "apt / yum like tool for managing pkgsrc binary packages". The most important thing about this (for me) is that it finally brings "autoremove" to NetBSD: Remove all packages that once have been pulled in as dependencies but are no longer needed. I consider this a major feature of modern package managers. This makes NetBSD much more interesting. ____________________ Hmmmm, FreeBSD has a new package management tool as well. It also supports "autoremove".
