Cool  Retro Term [1], which I'm using right now to write this text, is
  a pretty nice  terminal.   The  screen  looks  somewhat  like  an  old
  terminal  --  monochrome, blurry, shaking, stuff like that. Of course,
  it's pure eye-candy, but still a nice toy.

  Interestingly, I don't remember any screen of such low quality. Either
  this  was  just  normal  back  then  (so I didn't take it as something
  special), or I'm too young. The first  screens  I  used  were  devices
  built in the middle 1980's...
