Bought another MP3 album on Amazon. I deeply regret it. The sad thing is, I could have seen this coming but I was too greedy. See, what I bought is "Shpongle - Nothing Lasts... But Nothing Is Lost"[1]. It's 20 tracks on the CD but it's actually one single song. Wikipedia says it's "8 songs divided into 20 parts" but there's no moment of silence -- those 8 songs blend smoothly into each other. Amazon's MP3s are of poor quality. Yes, sure, it's 256 kb/s and stuff. That's not the problem. The problem is that you can clearly hear when one track ends and when the next track starts because the CD -- obviously -- was ripped in "track at once" mode on a poor CD drive. It goes like this: ... melody ; click/blip/small pause ; melody ... Grrrrrrrrrr. ____________________ 1. https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Nothing_Lasts..._But_Nothing_Is_Lost
