Finally  some  important  bugs  are  fixed  in  luakit[1] or webkit or
  whatever. I don't really care that much what the  exact  problem  was.
  Now, luakit finally is usable again.

  That's  important  because  Firefox  has gotten terribly slow. I don't
  know what they're doing. Maybe they just ignore  older  machines  like
  mine (it's about 6 years old).
