Looking over the various tools here at tilde town, I'm struck by how many of them have copyrights by some university, but where that school
decided at some point to abandon the project, and it had to be taken over by one or more outside entities. I correlate this with the
increasing corporatism of the internet, and its accelerating enshittification. At some point the web became divorced from its original
impetus "Let's Share What We Know," and become more like "Let's All Try To Make A Buck." Awful.
