I've been having a hard time finding a splint for my finger that isn't uncomfortable and keeps it in the right position. Sensory sensitivities make a lot of options unsuitable for me. I bought a cheap pack of splints on amazon consisting of plastic rings and little compression sleeves, but the rings are too large and the sleeves are too small and poorly made. I was able to knit a little sleeve for my finger that fits under one of the too-large ring splints to pad it out, and it's perfect! It's holding my finger in exactly the right position. I've seen the orthopedic department at the hospital and they said it looks like it's healing well. I'll have a few more appointments to ensure all keeps going well, but I should be back to normal in a while.
