       Let's start with an overview of what a computer is.  After that
       we can dive into and example based around a hypothetical
       computer.
       
       The goal is not to turn the reader into an engineer at Intel,
       but to build a working mental model of a processor.  Like any
       mental model, it will be accurate at a high level, but may
       omit, gloss over, or over-siplify details that might be
       important in some contexts.
