       Sharing my thoughts on team fortress 2 and team fortress 2 related things.
       
       team fortress 2 is not a well designed game, but it is something else entirely. 
       
       sniper mains are worse than cheaters, because at least everyone agrees that cheaters are bad. If you use external tools to win unfairly? bad. Engie placing sentries under the map? bad. But that's not a hack, that's just an exploit, right? it's abusing a broken mechanic in ways it was never meant to be used, giving you an unfair advantage with no reasonable counter. You kick that guy when he does that because we all understand this is not fun. fatmagic type osu player ah kovaak's ah sniper mains are also abusing a broken mechanic in ways it was never meant to be used which gives them an unfair advantage with no reasonable counter. but if I suggest that it's reasonable to kick that guy when you're on his team, ohhh nooo. Sniper mains literally wear as a badge of honour the "hackusation". They get hackused more than any other class, and they take pride in this. They literally take pride in the fact that playing against them is as unfun as playing aainst a cheater, and they are so stupid they don't realise the issue here. 
       
       people act like it's some sort of mystery or malice which means valve devs don't want to work on tf2 any more. I can tell you the real answer. The game is literally well known for being "source spaghetti". There's a video with millions of views going over the dwindling sanity of valve programmers as seen in the game's code comments. Of course no one wants to work on this codebase, it's a complete mess! it's hacks built on hacks accross multiple generations of valve employees over almost 2 decades on an already janky engine. The codebase is impossible to work with because it's a complete mess. You can literally see it for yourself it's been leaked multiple times.
       
       Demoman: the most honest and skillfull class in tf2
       
       Soldier is simply too easy. No one talks about soldier as the brain off class in tf2. People will talk about pyro as brain off, which can be true. It can also be untrue. Many things can be true and or untrue. No one will ever know. No one is reading this so I can say anything. Some people think heavy is a brain off class. Maybe if you have a medic glued up your ass. But then that applies to any class. Heavy optimally is actually very hard. Lots of thinking about possitioning. Sodier players have never thouht about positioning once, because you get the best movement in the game. You just jump away if you're caught. Bombing is mechanically easy and insane burst sync rocket damage. Funny spoon = free one shot most classes. I'm not even good at tf2 and i will pretty much topscore any server if i play soldier. Not that it isn't fun. It's fun! it's just also easy. Demo is actually hard and honest and requires skill. Firstly pipes are the hardest projectile in the game. you must live in teh future to predict movement. Rewarded with -100, not even a 1 shot on any class other than spy with kunai and no buff or big earner. Sniper meanwhile gets insane damage from any range instant kill just click head free kill -130 no skill. Sniper mains please do the world a favour and kill yourself irl at your earliest convenience. 
       Oh sticky spam shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut pu shut up. Sticky spam is called playing the fucking game, retard. It's called aiming and shooting. It doesn't work if you're shit. You already know this, mindless sticky spam doesn't work, because SHOCKING this demoman discovers you have to actually AIM stickies for them to do any damage. woahhhhh. you're telling me this for the first time. when I skillfully zone a scunt with ingenous sticky placements allowing me to land a sticky pipe combo and wipe the chud from the badlands forever, was that spam also. No and you know it isn't. No one who is honest about the game thinks sticky spam is real. Traps are free kills. But opportunity cost my friend :) Goole it :)
       calculations. one million calculations per second as drunk black scottish bomb man. demoknight is for people who can't handle reality. nice sword solarlight, your grandma knit it for you? I play against solarlight. He good at game. I bad at game. I kill him with skillful stickybomb placement prediction good positioning outside of range. He think trimp require skill when just turn mouse. trimp no require skill trimp just turn mouse = no skill.

       The AA cannon in tf2c is not so cool
       
       The AA cannon is a primary weapon for heavy that is straight up dumb. It's clearly overpowered on multiple levels, and yet the devs refuse to fix it. There's a reason that heavy is fairly weak in live tf2: it's not that fun to fight a damage sponge tank. The interaction is kept tough but fair by making heavy's strength situational. The aa cannon makes heavy too strong as a generalist, and completely overshadows stock as the go-to heavy primary. To sum up the problem real quick, heavy is kept in check because he needs direct line of sight to damage you, and he's too slow to reposition quickly. That means the main way of counterin a heavy is by abusing map geometry to corner peak him. Not doable on every class, pyro's gonna have a tough time here for example, but power classes can counter a heavy if they know how to use corners to their advantage. The aa cannon does splash damage, so you can no longer hide behind a corner to peak a heavy. There is now no counter to a heavy other than focus fire. Coordinated focus fire in a casual online multiplayer game is too much to expect of a team of randos. The minicrits on airborn players stat is just salt in the wound. Completely unnecesary buff to an already super powerful weapon. Nerf that shit. 
       
       The rejuvinator in tf2c is really cool
       
       At first when I saw this new weapon / item being used, I thought it was absurd. The uber charge which places down an aoe dome within which any teammates are ubered can be used to flash your entire team through a choke. I saw this used to great effect on a particularly chokey map and thought it was severely overpowered. Upon trying out the weapon myself now, I have to say my opinon has changed. In better designed maps which are more open, the uber is probably worse than stock. But that asside, it's just super fun to use. As a demo main, I love shooting projectiles. These projectiles are just as satisfying as demoman pipes, but you never run out of ammo, meaning you never have to stop spamming! I saw a future for myself becoming a medic main just because I love the rejuvinator so much. previously, my major problem with TF2C had been that without the crusador's crossbow, medic is just boring to play. This really fixes that. The burst healing is super powerful but way more skill based than just beaming teammates. It's great for aoe healing, since the healing grenades have splash. Honestly kind of unfun to fight from the other side, but super fun to play. hitting directs on teammates is super fun, i can instantly tell this item has a super high skill cieling, because i know that demoman pipes do. After I landed a life saving airshot on a soldier I knew this item was for me, the satisfaction from that is just super high. Extreme dopamine. I may have some problems with other new tf2c weapons from the double down update, and before, but the rejuvinator is great.
