      Title: John Wayne's Famous Dish

      Yield: 6 Servings

      2 lb Ground beef; cooked, drained
  1 1/2 oz Env taco seasoning
      4 oz Dairy sour cream
      4 oz Mayonnaise
      8 oz Cheddar cheese; shredded,
           - divided
    1/2 lg Onion; diced
      2 c  Bisquick
      1 c  Water
      2 tb Juice from jarred jalapeno
           - chilies
      1 lb Bell pepper; cored, chopped
      4 oz Can sliced jalapeno chilies
      4 oz Can whole black olives
     17 oz Jar salsa

  Set oven to 325°F/165°C.

  Brown ground beef and add taco seasoning and water, according to
  packet instructions; set aside.

  In a separate bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, 4 oz Cheddar
  cheese; set aside.

  Stir Bisquick, water, and jalapeño juice together to form a soft
  dough. Add more Bisquick if needed to achieve a dough consistency.
  Pat dough on the bottom and 1/2" up the sides of an 9x13" greased
  casserole dish.

  Saute onions and bell peppers until slightly tender.

  On top of biscuit mix, evenly distribute ingredients in the
  following order: ground beef, bell pepper and onions, sour cream
  mixture, black olives, jalapeno peppers, salsa, and end with
  remaining shredded cheese.

  Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until edges of dough are lightly
  browned.
