MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Creamy White Chilli Categories: Poultry, Beans, Herbs, Dairy, Chiles Yield: 7 Servings 1 lb Chicken; boned, skinned, - cubed 1/2" 1 md Onion; chopped 1 1/2 ts Garlic powder 1 tb Oil 31 oz Great Northern beans - (2 cans); rinsed, drained 14 1/2 oz Can chicken broth 8 oz Chopped green chiles - (2 cans) 1 ts Salt 1 ts Ground cumin 1 ts Dried oregano 1/2 ts Pepper 1/4 ts Cayenne pepper 1 c Sour cream 1/2 c Heavy whipping cream MMMMM---------------------OPTIONAL TOPPINGS-------------------------- Tortilla chips Cheddar cheese; shredded Jalapenos; sliced, seeded In a large saucepan, saute the chicken, onion, and garlic powder in oil until chicken is no longer pink. Add the beans, broth, chiles, and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Remove from the heat; stir in sour cream and heavy cream.
