                        Make-A-Mix Taco Seasoning

   2      ts            Dried minced onion
   1      ts            Salt
   1      ts            Chili powder
     1/2  ts            Corn starch
     1/2  ts            Crushed dried red pepper
     1/2  ts            Dried minced garlic
     1/4  ts            Dried oregano
     1/2  ts            Ground cumin

For one envelope, about 2 tb: Combine all ingredients, and store in
an airtight container or in a 6" square of aluminum foil, folded
tightly. Use within 6 months.

To use:

Brown 1 lb of ground beef and drain the grease. Add 1/2 cup water and
the Taco Seasoning Mix. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring
occasionally. Makes enough filling for 8 to 10 tacos.
