* Exported from MasterCook Mac * Rice Pudding Recipe By : Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :1:30 Categories : Rice Pudding Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 c Water -- boiling 1/2 c Rice -- * see note 1/2 ts Salt 1 qt Skim milk 2 tb Butter 2 Eggs -- beaten 1/2 c Sugar 1/2 c Raisins 1/2 ts Vanilla 1 Cinnamon stick (optional) Note: * Short grain rice makes a creamier pudding then long grain. Boil water, rice & salt for 7 minutes. Add milk, butter, and cinnamon stick and cook on low heat for 1-1/4 hours. Remove from heat, add eggs, sugar, raisins & vanilla.
