                              SPICY PUDDING

     1/2  lb            pitted dates
   1      cup           english walnuts
   2      teaspoons     baking powder
   4      tablespoons   flour
   2                    eggs
     1/2  cup           milk
     3/4  cup           sugar
     1/2  teaspoon      cinnamon
     1/2  teaspoon      allspice
     1/2  teaspoon      cloves

Beat eggs.  Add sugar, flour, spices and milk.  Beat together.  Add dates and
nuts.  Put in greased pan.  Bake at 375 for 25 minutes, then 275 for 15
minutes.  serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
