* Exported from MasterCook II * Lime-Mint Tea On Ice Recipe By : The Hartford Courant July 5, 1971 Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Tea Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 quart boiling water 4 tea bags 1 1/2 to 2 cups loosely packed fresh mint leaves 1/4 cup sugar -- or to taste 1/4 cup fresh lime juice (about 2 limes) lime slices for garnish Combine water, tea bags, mint and sugar. Cover; steep 20 minutes. Remove and discard tea bags and mint leaves. Cool. Stir in lime juice, chill. Serve over ice, garnish with lime slices. Makes 1 quart. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
