                             Allspice Cordial

   3      Tsp           Freshly Ground Allspice
   1      Fifth         Vodka
   1      Cup           Sugar Syrup
                        Glycerine -- *

Let the allspice steep in the vodka for one week; strain through
cheesecloth.  Add the sugar syrup and bottle.  

*although the recipe doesn't call for this, we always add a little
food-type glycerine to the bottle.  It makes the cordial a little more
viscous.
