                           Grapefruit Liqueur 1

   1      Fifth         Brandy
   1      Cup           Sugar Syrup

Remove the peel from the grapefruit.  Steep the peel in the brandy for
two weeks.  Taste the drink at this point by mixing a tbsp of the brandy
solution with 1 tsp of sugar syrup.  If the grapefruit flavor is not
strong enough, add more grapefruit peel and steep for another week.  If
the grapefruit flavor is too strong, sweeten and then dilute by adding a
mixture of three parts brandy and one part sugar syrup.  If the flavor is
just right, add the sugar syrup and enjoy.
