                              Spinach Dip #1

   1       c            Sour cream
   4       sm           Green onion -- chopped
  10       oz           Frozen spinach -- drained,
                        - finely chopped
   1       sm           Can water chestnuts --
                        - finely chopped
   1       c            Mayonnaise
   1                    Pkg Knorrs soup mix
   1                    Round loaf pumpernickle bread --
                        - unsliced

  Combine above ingredients and chill. Tear out center of bread for
  dip pieces. Fill center with dip and serve.
