* Exported from MasterCook * Lisas' Quick Southwest Hot Dip Recipe By : Lisa Lepsy Serving Size : 10 Preparation Time :0:10 Categories : Appetizers Appetizers & Dips Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 can refried beans -- 16 oz can 1 pkg cream cheese -- 8 oz. size 1 can your favorite chili -- 16 oz size 1 pkg shredded cheddar cheese -- 8 oz size 1 pkg shredded Monterey jack cheese -- 8 oz. size 1 bag your favorite tortilla chips or fritos Spread beans in bottom of 9" deep dish pie plate. Sprinkle some cheddar and jack cheese, about 4 oz.of each. Slice cream cheese thinly and lay out as a layer over beans and cheeses. Pour over 1 can of your favorite chili, or home made.Top with remaining cheeses. Microwave on High power 5 minutes or til bubbly and heated through. Serve with chips. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Toss in some green chile peppers and chopped fresh tomatoes under the chili layer if desired. (my kids are picky..LOL )
