* Exported from MasterCook * Hummous Bi Tahini Recipe By : Matt Rosen, White Rock, BC Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Dips Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 4 c Chickpeas (2 cans) 4 cl Garlic 2/3 c Olive oil 1/2 c Tahini paste 1 ts Ground cumin 1 1/2 ts Salt & pepper -- to taste 2 Lemons -- juice of 1/4 ts Vitamin C crystals Drain and rinse chickpeas. Mince garlic in processor first. Then add chickpeas, olive oil, tahini, lemon juice, salt, pepper, cumin, and vitamin C. Process until mixture is completely smooth. Serve chilled or at room temperature with pita bread or crackers. Garnish with paprika, olives, and parsley.
