                               Hot Beef Dip

   1      lb            Ground beef
     2/3  c             Onion -- chopped
     1/2  c             Green pepper -- chopped
   3      cl            Garlic -- minced
   8      oz            Can tomato sauce
     1/4  c             Ketchup
   1      ts            Sugar
     3/4  ts            Dried oregano
     1/4  ts            Pepper
   8      oz            Cream cheese -- softened
     1/4  c             Parmesan cheese -- grated
                        Tortilla chips

In a large skillet, cook beef, onion, green pepper, and garlic until
meat is browned. Add the tomato sauce, ketchup, sugar, oregano, and
pepper; simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in
cheeses until melted. Transfer to a fondue pot or chafing dish; serve
warm with tortilla chips.
