MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Upscale Grilled Tuna Sandwich Categories: Sandwiches, Tuna, Dressing, Grill Yield: 4 Servings 4 Albacore loin cuts; - 3/4" thick VINAIGRETTE: 8 ts Olive oil 6 tb Lemon juice Fresh ground pepper 1/8 ts Salt 1/2 ts Oregano; crushed 1 ds Ground red pepper ASSEMBLY: 1 Roasted red pepper; - in 1/2" strips 2 French rolls; split 1/4 c Basil; chopped Whisk vinaigrette ingredients together. Marinate tuna in half of this mixture for 30 minutes. Drain fish and grill on a greased grate 4-5" from hot coals. Baste with marinade frequently; turn once. Cook 6 minutes total for medium. Toast rolls lightly on grill, cut side down. Brush toasted sides with remaining vinaigrette. Make 4 open-face sandwiches by topping roll half with fish, red peppers, and fresh basil.
