                               Pizza Sauce

  15      oz            Can tomato puree
   3      cl            Garlic -- minced
     1/4  c             Red wine
   3      tb            Balsamic vinegar
   2      tb            Olive oil
   1      tb            Italian seasoning
   1      ts            Dried basil
   1      ts            Dried oregano
                        Salt and pepper -- to taste

Mix all ingredients and let sit at least 30 minutes and up to 1 day
before using, stirring occasionally, and refrigerated if allowed to
sit more than 1 hour.

Yield: Sauce for two 12 to 14" pizzas
