MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Pizza Egg Rolls Categories: Pork, Cheese, Vegetables, Breads Yield: 32 Servings 4 c Shredded pizza cheese blend 1 lb Italian sausage; cooked, - drained 6 oz Sliced pepperoni; chopped 1 md Bell pepper; fine chopped 1 md Red bell pepper; - fine chopped 1 md Onion; fine chopped 28 oz Pizza sauce (2 jars) 32 Egg roll wrappers Oil for frying Additional pizza sauce; - for dipping, warmed, - (optional) In a large bowl, combine the cheese, sausage, pepperoni, peppers, and onion. Stir in pizza sauce until combined. Place about 1/4 cup filling in the center of each egg roll wrapper. Fold bottom corner over filling; fold sides toward center over filling. Moisten remaining corner with water and roll up tightly to seal. In a Dutch oven or deep cast-iron skillet, heat 1 to 2" of oil to 375 F/190 C. Fry pizza rolls until golden brown, 1 to 2 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towels. If desired, serve with additional pizza sauce.
