MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Lasagne Categories: Italian, Pasta Yield: 8 Servings Tomato sauce recipe 12 Lasagna noodles 1 lb Mozzarella cheese; shredded 1/2 c Parmesan or romano cheese; - grated MMMMM--------------------------FILLING------------------------------- 2 c Ricotta or cottage cheese 2 Eggs; beaten Salt & pepper 1/2 lb Raw spinach; chopped - (optional) 1 ds Nutmeg (optional) 2 tb Wheat germ (optional) Preparation time: 1-1/2 hours Prepare tomato sauce from recipe. Half-cook lasagna noodles, drain, and rinse in cold water. Prepare filling. Prepare cheese. Have ready a 9x13" pan. Spread a little sauce over bottom of pan. Cover with a layer of noodles, 1/3rd of the noodles. Put a blotch of filling here and there. Use half of the filling. Sauce, 1/3rd the remaining sauce. Half the Mozzarella hither and thither. Another 1/3rd of the noodles. Remaining filling, followed by: Sauce, another 1/3rd, which gets covered by: Remaining mozzarella. Every last noodle. Ultimate dosage of sauce. The parmesan or romano.
