MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Homemade Sage Sausage Patties Categories: Pork, Herbs, Vegetables, Dairy Yield: 4 Servings 1 lb Ground pork 3/4 c Cheddar cheese; shredded 1/4 c Buttermilk 1 tb Onion; fine chopped 2 ts Sage; rubbed 3/4 ts Salt 3/4 ts Pepper 1/8 ts Garlic powder 1/8 ts Dried oregano In a bowl, combine all ingredients, mixing lightly but thoroughly. Shape into eight 1/2"-thick patties. Refrigerate 1 hour. In a large cast-iron or other heavy skillet, cook patties over medium heat, 6 to 8 minutes on each side.
