MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Maple Sausage Patties Categories: Pork, Herbs, Chilies Yield: 8 Servings 1 tb Maple syrup 1/2 ts Salt 1/2 ts Onion powder 1/2 ts Rubbed sage 1/2 ts Dried thyme 1/2 ts Poultry seasoning 1/2 ts Ground nutmeg 1/4 ts Cayenne pepper Liquid smoke (optional) 1 lb Ground pork In a large bowl, mix maple syrup, salt, spices and, if desired, liquid smoke. Add the pork; mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into eight 2-1/2" patties. Refrigerate, covered, at least 1 hour.
