* Exported from MasterCook * Honey Grilled Tenderloins Recipe By : Southern Living Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Bbq Pork/Ham Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/2 lb Pork tenderloin 1/3 c Soy sauce 1/2 ts Ginger 5 cl Garlic -- chopped 2 tb Brown sugar 3 tb Honey 2 ts Sesame oil Cooking spray Trim the fat from the tenderloins. Butterfly by making a lengthwise cut, cutting to within 1/4" of the other side. Place in a shallow pan or ziplock bag. Combine soy sauce, ginger, and garlic. Pour over tenderloin. Cover or seal; refrigerate at least 3 hours turning occasionally. Remove tenderloin and discard marinade. Combine brown sugar, honey, and sesame oil in a small saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Coat grill rack with cooking spray. Grill over low to medium heat 10 to 15 minutes per side or until a meat thermometer reaches 160 F. Baste frequently with honey mixture. Notes: When it's too cold to grill outside, preheat oven to 350 F and bake. This only takes 20 to 30 minutes to cook and you don't want it overddone!
