* Exported from MasterCook II * Paprika Pork With Peppers Recipe By : Simply Delicious Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:05 Categories : Main Dishes Pork & Ham Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 ounces butter 4 pork loin chops -- trimmed salt pepper 1 clove garlic -- crushed 1/2 pint vegetable stock 1/4 pint dry white wine 1 teaspoon paprika 1 red bell pepper -- halved,seeded,sliced 7 fluid ounces creme fraiche Melt butter in a large frying pan and fry chops for 3-4 mins until browned. Season. Add garlic, stock, wine and paprika. Cover and cook for 20 mins, turning chops once. Add sliced peppers and stir in cream fraiche. Simmer over low heat for 10 mins until chops are cooked. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES : To make your own creme fraiche add 2 tsp lemon juice to every 1/4 pt whipping cream. Stir and leave in warm place, loosely covered for 4-6 hours until thick.
