* Exported from MasterCook * Fruit & Nut Stuffed Pork Chops Recipe By : Southern Living Home for the Holidays 1994 Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Pork Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 6 Thick pork chops, with Stuffing pocket cut 1/4 te spoon Pepper 2 cu s Italian seasoned bread Crumbs, divided 1/2 cup Peeled chopped apple 1/3 cup Shredded cheddar cheese 2 Ta lespoons Finely chopped pecans, Toasted 1/4 te spoon Salt 1/8 te spoon Apple pie spice 2 Ta lespoons Melted butter 1 cup Orange juice, divided Sprinkle chops with pepper; set aside. Combine 1 1/2 cups with remaining ingredients except for 1/2 cup orange juice. Stuff each chop and coat with remaining bread crumbs. Preheat oven to 350F. Place chops in a 13X9X2" baking pan and drizzle with remaining orange juice. Bake, covered, 20 minutes. Uncover and bake another 30-35 minutes.
