JJGF65A Recipe By : Serving Size : 12 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Beef Italian Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/2 lb Ground beef 1 cl Garlic -- minced 1 Egg -- beaten lightly 3 tb Oil 3/4 c Dried bread crumbs 3 tb Parsley -- minced 1/4 ts Pepper -- freshly ground 1 1/2 tb Basil -- crumbled Combine the beef, bread crumbs, garlic, parsley, basil, egg, and pepper. Mix thoroughly and shape into 1" meatballs. Melt the oil in a saucepan. Brown the meatballs lightly on all sides; drain off the fat. Add tomato sauce, cover, and simmer 40 minutes.
