* Exported from MasterCook * Family Favorite Meat Loaf Recipe By : Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :5:15 Categories : Beef Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 Eggs -- beaten 3/4 c Milk 2/3 c Fine dry bread crumbs 2 tb Brown sugar 2 tb Onion -- grated 1 ts Salt 1/2 ts Sage 1 1/2 lb Ground beef Sauce: 1/4 c Catsup 1 ts Dry mustard 1/4 ts Ground nutmeg Combine eggs with milk, bread crumbs, onion, salt, sage, and meat. Mix well and shape into 9x5" rectangle or oval, or about 6" round. Carefully place in slow-cooking pot. Cook on low for 5 to 6 hours. Combine sauce ingredients in small bowl; pour over meat.
