MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Microwave Swedish Meatballs Categories: Beef, Vegetables, Breads, Herbs, Dairy Yield: 4 Servings 1 sm Onion; chopped 1 lg Egg (55 g) 1/4 c Seasoned bread crumbs 2 tb Milk 1/2 ts Salt 1/8 ts Pepper 1 lb Ground beef (454 g) MMMMM---------------------------SAUCE-------------------------------- 10 3/4 oz Condensed cream of mushroom - soup (300 g); undiluted 1/2 c Dairy sour cream 1/4 c Milk 1 tb Dried parsley flakes 1/4 ts Ground nutmeg (optional) Cooked noodles; hot Fresh parsley; minced - (optional) In a large bowl, combine the onion, egg, bread crumbs, milk, salt, and pepper. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into 1" meatballs, about 24. Place in a shallow 1-1/2 qt microwave-safe dish. Cover and microwave on high until meat is no longer pink, 7-1/2 minutes; drain. Combine the soup, sour cream, milk, parsley and, if desired, nutmeg; pour over meatballs. Cover and cook on high until heated through, 5 to 6 minutes. Serve with noodles and, if desired, top with parsley. Recipe tested with 1100 watt microwave.
