MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Succulent Crockpot Roast Beef Categories: Beef, Crockpot Yield: 6 servings 3 lb Lean beef roast, sirloin tip -or chuck 1 Envelope dry onion/mushroom -soup mix; uncooked 1 c Water 4 lg Carrots; peeled and cut into -3 pieces ea 6 md Potatoes; peeled A well-done roast that is so tender and moist that it melts in your mouth. Put roast in crockpot. Pour dry soup mix over roast. Add water. Add carrots and potatoes. Cook on high for about 6 hours or low for 8-10 hours. Remove roast, carrots and potatoes and place on large platter. Slice roast across grain and place on platter. If desired, thicken gravy. Serve with Overnight Layered Salad.
