MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Cheesy Sweet Potato Fisherman's Pie Categories: Seafood, Potatoes, Vegetables, Herbs, Cheese Yield: 6 servings 1 kg Sweet potatoes 1 kg Whole whiting; cleaned 1 lg Onion 4 lg Eggs 2 Cloves 1/2 c Dried parsley 900 ml Milk 50 g Plain flour 100 g Cheddar cheese pn Nutmeg 2 Bay Leaves Black Pepper Peel, chop, boil & mash the sweet potatoes. Put the fish in a deep pan, cover with bay leaves, onion, cloves & milk. Drain fish & onions in a sieve keeping the milk for the sauce. Hard boil & slice the eggs & cover the fish. Melt the butter in a pan. Add flour and stir in to make a paste. Slowly add the milk which you used to poach the fish, stirring to a paste before adding more. Add 80g cheese & stir in. Add parsley, nutmeg & pepper & cook for 4 minutes & pour over the egg covered fish. Spread the sweet potato mash over the sauce & sprinkle with cheese. Bake @ 200 C/400 F for 20 minutes.
