                         Crockpot Vegetable Soup

   1                    Onion -- chopped
   2      md            Potatoes -- chopped
   3                    Cans chicken broth
  14      oz            Can whole tomatoes -- drain
   1      lg            Can V-8 juice
   2                    Celery ribs -- chopped
   1      c             Spinach -- chopped
     1/2  ts            Salt & pepper
   1      ts            Dried basil
     1/2  ts            Dried thyme
   1      tb            Butter
   2                    Carrots -- sliced
   4      c             Water
   1      ds            Red pepper flakes

  Add bow tie pasta if desired. Cook overnight in the crockpot.
