MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Chilli-Topped Cornbread Waffles Categories: Breads, Chilies, Dairy Yield: 8 servings 1 1/2 c Gluten-free A-P baking - flour; without xanthan gum 1 1/2 c Corn meal 2 ts Baking powder 1 ts Sea salt 2 lg Eggs; room temperature 2 c Milk 1/2 c Olive oil 30 oz Ray's chilli with beans - (2 cans) -OR- 4 c Leftover chilli; warmed MMMMM--------------------------TOPPINGS------------------------------- Jalapeno slices Cheddar cheese; shredded Sour cream Avocado; diced Fresh cilantro; minced Fire up waffle maker. In a large bowl, whisk flour, corn meal, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and oil until blended. Add to dry ingredients; stir just until moistened. Bake waffles according to manufacturer's directions until golden brown. Serve with chilli and toppings of your choice.
