MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Overnight French Toast Casserole Categories: Breads, Dairy, Spices Yield: 12 servings 1 lb Loaf French bread; in 1" - cubes 8 lg Eggs; lightly beaten 3 c Milk 4 ts Sugar 1 ts Vanilla extract 3/4 ts Salt MMMMM--------------------------TOPPING------------------------------- 2 tb Butter 3 tb Sugar 2 ts Ground cinnamon Maple syrup (optional) Place bread cubes in a greased 13x9". baking dish. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla and salt. Pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Set the oven @ 350 F/175 C. Dot with butter. Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over the top. Cover and bake until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, 45-50 minutes.
