     30 lg Ripe tomatoes
      4 lg Onions
      6 lg Pears
      6 lg Peaches
      6 lg Apples
      4 c  Granulated sugar
      2 tb Salt
           Mixed pickling spices;
           - tied in cloth
      1 pt Vinegar
 
  Peel and chop fine the tomatoes, onions, pears, peaches, and
  apples. Mix all ingredients and boil until thick. Pour into
  sterilized Kerr jars and seal.
