* Exported from MasterCook * Spinach Puree Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Vegetarian Main Dish Pasta Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 lb Fresh spinach -- cleaned 1/4 c Water 1/2 ts Salt 1 cl Garlic -- minced 1 ea Black pepper -- to taste Cook the spinach without added water in a covered pot for just a few minutes - until tender & very bright green. Transfer to a blender & with 1/4 c water, puree until very smooth. Place in a small bowl. Thin to desired consistency & season with garlic, salt & pepper.
